Under the direction of the department director, the Clinical Coordinator has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a process driven, compassionate and career-oriented Registered Nurse to work as the Med/Surg Clinical Coordinator at St. Francis Hospital.  

As the Clinical Coordinator, you will act as a role model providing leadership for the unit. You will actively participate in policy and standard development and cost-effective unit operations. You will also ensure compliance in every facet from the entire floor. This position requires candidates that are positive, great communicator and passionate about process improvement and development.  

A few Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Clinical Coordinator:  

  • Implementation of philosophies, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital  

  • Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by staff 

  • Responsible for clinical management of the unit 

Required Qualifications of the Med/Surg Clinical Coordinator:   

  • Associates Degree in Nursing  

  • Valid License in the State of GA 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) 

  • ACLS within 6 months of hire 

  • 6 Months of Clinical Nursing experience in Direct patient care 

Preferred Qualifications of the Med/Surg Clinical Coordinator:   

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 

  • 5 years of clinical experience
