An Environmental Intern is responsible for assisting the EHS Manager and Analyst with various projects as needed. Most work will revolve around waste, water, and energy reduction projects and the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS)

 Identify and deploy waste, water use, and energy reduction opportunities

 Participate in continuous improvement projects as they relate to the sites ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and certificate

 Identify sustainability opportunities in preparation for the site’s Earth Day events

 Research chemical substitution opportunities that reduce potential pollution load

 Evaluate and improve the site’s recycling programs Required Skills What skills are necessary for this role? Example:  Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment  Able to work independently as well as in a team setting  Strong analytical skills and motivation  Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills Required Experience  Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science
