About the Role:

Supervises and directs the workflow of the staff to ensure that objectives are being met in a timely manner. Supports internal and external customers. Manages day to day activities. Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and procedures. Supervises and supports critical accounting, finance, reporting, and/or related functions. Provides guidance, training, motivation, and work scheduling for staff. Supports Manager and/or Director as appropriate. Mentors and develops staff.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
  • Responsible for verifying and communicating tax changes, Federal, State, applicable to companies and individuals of the group.
  • Review the tax mailbox
  • Attend to the requirements of the Tax Authority, stamp invoices, payment complements.
  • Perform tax analysis and evaluate the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team in the proper preparation of financial records and tax related documents.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to ensure sound and consistent tax management across the organization.
  • Perform tax analysis and assess the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.
  • Oversee obligations due during the year.
  • Respond to electronic invoicing.
  • Communicate strategy to our Greater Toronto area.
  • Respond to requests from external auditors and tax authorities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Accounting or tax degree
  • 5 years of experience in the invoicing area (Tax Supervisor)
  • Intermediate English: 70%.
  • Office Suite
  • PR management (Oracle, SAP)
